About Warminster Osteopathic Clinic
I am a freelance therapist specialising in Thai, Swedish and Holistic Massage, Reflexology and Thermal Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candling), for body and mind relaxation.
I am based at the Warminster Osteopathic Clinic and at the Bath Practice.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I been a massage therapist for many years, during which time, I have studied Swedish, Thai, Holistic, and most recently Hot Stones Massage, as well as Reflexology and Thermal Auricular Therapy.
My initial training in Swedish Massage was at Weston Super Mare College; subsequently, I studied Thai Massage with Niclaire Mann at the British School of Thai Massage in 2001, and at the Classic Touch School of Thai Massage, Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2004.
I studied Chinese Massage with the Oriental Bodyworks Association in 2002, Reflexology at Wiltshire College in 2004, Thermal Auricular Therapy with Pressuredown Therapies in 2004, and Hot Stones Massage at the Bonheur Academy (Bath) in 2011.
I have also attended various workshops and participated in various short courses.
I have practised as a massage therapist at the Warminster Osteopathic Clinic since 2007, and at the Bath Practice Osteopathic Clinic since 2010. Further Information
I have been a massage therapist for a number of years, originally studying Swedish and Holistic Massage and most recently Thai Massage, which I have studied both in the UK and in Thailand.
According to one of my clients, Thai Massage is "A special experience which left me feeling revived in mind, body and spirit. I allowed my body to relax and be eased and warmed into positions extending muscles and tendons to their fullest comfortable capacity. Through combining supported movements with the massage using no exertion I felt the benefit permeated deeper through the body." Anna, September, 2010.
Thai Massage is an amazing anti-stress treatment, which helps improve flexibility; Swedish Massage is a great treatment for specific areas of tension, classically the neck and upper back, while Hot Stones Massage is a truly relaxing experience; the hot basalt stones, however can also be used to soothe areas of muscular tension.
Other concerns & issues I deal with
